Montreux Switzerland

Montreux, sounds french right? Montreux is by the south west of Switzerland by the lake of Geneve, facing the alps of France and South Alps of Switzerland.
I really love this place, I like the trees they have by the lake, like Palm trees and also of course flowers everywhere during spring, summer and Autumn, even the nowadays before spring time, flowers already planted.

First Picking Tulips This Year

I was picking tulips while my husband enjoying taking pictures. I never thought he did video and taking pictures while I was enjoying picking tulips. This is my first picking tulips this year spring time season. Look at the photos below, so fantastic view fantastic from where we were standing. The people living in this place are so lucky they have beautiful view from their house. How I wish I could have a house also with this beautiful view and everyday when is good weather I can see the amazing view from my house?

In Gurten Kulm, Bern

Good day co-bloggers and friends. How day? How was your weekend? My husband, my son we had fantastic weekend. We were in Gurten Kulm, which is the panoramic view in our Place in Bern. We love this place. In summer my husband and I we always visited this place, we did picnic, playing badminton (other sports too, which is possible to play) and walking around on this little hill. In winter we came here for snow sledging, (but now not possible snowsledged to us because we have a little baby, he need our attention) and walking around too (like in this photos) then have some snacks in restaurant. In this place, back 2004 was my 1st time snow sledged here, this is the place which a lot of memories of us. This is the 1st place also that my husband brought me here when I arrived from Philippines last 2004. (I’m 4 years now living in Switzerland, Conratulations for my self).
This hill, its is just about 864 meters from sea level but there you can see the fantastic view the land of kanton Bern, which you can see also the alps.

Mount Rigi-The Queen of Swiss Mountains

When I looking up our photos in my computer, these photos caught me up. These photos we were in Mount Rigi January 17, 2007. Mount Rigi called the Queen of the Swiss Mountain. It is so nice to have experienced to go this known Mountain. This Mount Rigi is the one of the greatest attractions of Switzerland, apart from its well-planned cities and cultural capitals, is the picturesque Alps Mountains. In the late 19th century, the Alps were made popular by Joanna Spyri, whose book "Heidi", about a little girl living in the Swiss Alps was an instant bestseller. Yes, I love to watch this Heide in Television early in the morning.

Someday, I want to go back on there with our little baby boy. It is nice to walk there, exploring around on this Mountain, it is really picturesque Alps Mountains.

If you have a yen to see the sunrise from a mountaintop, there's no better place to head than Mount Rigi (5,894 feet). Travellers have been trekking up here since the 19th century to do just that. A handy hotel a few feet from the summit means you can make your ascent the day before. It'll take about four hours to hike up (you can halve that if you take a mountain bike). The going isn't too tough, though it does get steeper at the end. Your reward will be a magnificent panorama of Alpine peaks crowding around the convoluted contours of Lake Lucerne.
